Who I am

I am Texas-born, raised, and educated. I have a Bachelor's in Psychology from Texas Wesleyan University, a Master's in Criminal Justice from Texas Christian University, and I am pursuing a Master's in Sociology from the University of North Texas.

I am a Dean's List Recipient and member of the Honor Society Psi Chi

I believe in constantly pursuing education. That has led to certificates in The Opioid Crisis in America from Harvard University and Animal Ethics from Kyoto University.

In my undergraduate studies, I developed a program with a student organization to assist in Feeding The Homeless near campus. After years of researching the extreme food insecurity facing those in Fort Worth and North Texas, I launched the non-profit Another Hand to combat hunger here in Texas. Since founded, Another Hand has fed thousands in Weatherford, Waco, Granbury, and the DFW metroplex.

THINGS I WILL FIGHT FOR

Criminal Justice Reform.

Fixing our legal system is important, from policing in our communities, sentencing, and mass incarnation we must bring a change to our legal system.

Decriminalization Of Marijuana

For years and years the criminalization of marijuana has prompted profiling in our black and brown communities and have left many incarnated for years. It is my goal to work toward legalizing marijuana and creating policies that will help those effected.

Affordable & accessible healthcare

Healthcare should be an afforded right to all citizens, it is my duty to be a strong advocate of affordable accessibility in adequate healthcare

Increasing Public Transportation

Adequate transportation is a key amenity that indicates the success of a growing community, and society. We are seeing rapid growth here in district 12, thus, reliable transportation is a necessity for our citizens.
